Charlize Theron was open to doing things her way from the moment she first saw Hollywood. Although she was 16 years old, Theron had been "discovered" in South Africa as a model. She wanted more than the modeling offered. Hollywood provided her with more opportunities than she could have ever imagined.

The funny thing about it is that even though modeling was not the career path she desired, Theron still models to this day. It's still causing her problems. Theron's modeling career has Theron's pre-teen daughter telling her to "put on a shirt!"

Theron is a mom to two children, as well as an actress and model. The 47-year-old has starred in at most 66 movies and been a model for 31. She also owns her own production company, Denver & Delilah. Although most people would be impressed by this resume, Theron’s children are questioning her career choices.

"Mom, it Feels Like You Can't Hold a Job"

Theron spoke out in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. She said that her kids have strong opinions about what kind of work she does. Even her daughters, Jackson, 10 and August, 7, are confused about her career. Her youngest child even stated, "Oh my god, Mom, it feels as if you can't hold down a job."

It's the preteen who finds Theron’s work most questionable. Theron actually shared with her daughter a time when she was embarrassed by her modeling work. Theron recalls, "We were walking through an airport when she saw me on a Dior billboard and she was just like, "Oh my God, you're on the wall with no shirt, Mom. This is embarrassing. This is so embarrassing.

Although it can be difficult for the pre-teen mom to be in the public eye, we are certain that she will one day appreciate the hard work Theron has done. The actress hopes that this will be the case at the very minimum.

Theron said, "Deep down. Like every mother, my only goal is to f*cking impress their mothers." We can only imagine how impressed Theron will be by her daughters as she grows older, considering all of the work she has done.
