After the shocking revelation of their affair, Raquel Leviss has opened up about her relationship with Tom Sandoval.

Wednesday night's "Vanderpump Rules” star shared her position with her co-stars on Instagram. This statement came after reports that Sandoval had cheated with Ariana Madix, his ex-girlfriend.

Leviss, 28 explains that despite the difficult circumstances of our relationship, my feelings towards Tom are sincere and rooted in a loving friendship. "Knowing the hurt we cause, I have to be able to see how my choices affect others and make better decisions.

She continued to speak about her personal journey towards this point.

Raquel stated, "I need to take good care of myself, be self-reflective and learn to accept being alone." "I care about Tom, and I don’t want to predict or label anything. Right now, I need to heal."

She made these comments just hours after breaking her silence about the affair. Raquel made a statement and apologized to Ariana.

She began, "I am sorry for my actions and choices in the first place to Ariana and my friends as well as all those who are so invested in our relationship," she said. "There is no excuse. I am not a victim. I must take responsibility for my actions. I deeply regret having hurt Ariana.

"In the time that has passed since this happened, I have been reflecting on my choices and speaking with a counselor. I am now learning about my codependency patterns and my addiction to feeling loved." she said. "I have sought out emotional validation through intimate relationships that are unhealthy without regard for myself and sometimes negatively affected others. I also often prioritized the intimate connection over my friends. I am making efforts to learn more about my behavior and make better choices.

Leviss continued to say that she has started counseling to end her unhealthy behavior cycle, learn to establish stronger emotional boundaries, and protect my mental health.

She said, "I don’t expect sympathy or understanding, nor forgiveness." At the moment, I need to focus on my health and well-being. As I strive for betterment in my life, I will prioritize mental health and learn from my errors.

Friday's news broke that Sandoval had broken up with Madix after nine years of being together. This was due to Madix discovering that Sandoval had been cheating on Leviss.

Sources told TMZ by other sources that Ariana broke up with Tom after finding text messages and a video on Tom's phone that were "sexually explicit." According to insiders, Madix revealed to friends that Levisss and Sandoval had been having an affair for months.

Ariana found the video on YouTube. TMZ stated that it was a recording from a FaceTime call between Raquel, Tom and Ariana.

Leviss' lawyers wrote Monday to the cast members of "Vanderpump Rules", including Sandoval Madix, Lala Kent and Madix, requesting that they not distribute or share the video. Raquel's lawyers claimed that the recording was made illegally without Raquel’s knowledge or consent. They also argued that it was considered "nonconsensual poinography" due to a California revenge porn law. Anyone who sends or shares the video to another person would be violating that law.

According to TMZ, Leviss filed a restraining orders against Scheana Shay the next day. According to TMZ, Raquel claimed that Scheana had attacked her. She said that she shoved Raquel against a brick wall and punched in her face. Leviss claims that she suffered a black eye, cuts and bruises from the attack. Raquel also included photos of her injuries.
