The rapper warned: "I see all of you guys who have been in my wife’s DMs while we weren't together."

RayJ presented the award for the Best New Artist at the BET awards. But before they handed out the trophy, the two clarified any doubts that viewers might have had about their relationship.

The two appeared on the show after calling off their divorce for the third and final time in March. They share two children.

Ray J, 42 said, "Love wins before we look at the winners.

'"Im listening. "I'm trying compromise," he said. I'm never going to let you go.

Ray J sent a message before reading the nominations to men who had tried their luck on Love while separated. He warned: "And all you guys who were in my wife’s DMs while we weren't together - I see you. And I just want to let you know that she is mine." She's mine!"

The couple has had their share of public ups-and-downs in their relationship.

Love filed for divorce on May 20, 2020. She then asked for dismissal in July of that year. Ray J then filed for divorce in September 2020. In March 2021 he called off the divorce, and then filed again in October of that year. In March, their third divorce was called off.

Ray J and Love discussed their decision to end the divorce with ET after the BET Awards.

"I mean, love is hard." She said, "It's never easy, but it always works." "Isn't that what it's meant to be?"

Ray J said that the two have overcome their challenges by becoming "best friends, doing things she loves that I love and just hanging on."

"She's my best buddy I'm her best buddy. "And all our friends and everyone we have around us, they've got to get out of the bubble," he said. "I think that once we started locking in like this, it became super fun. You know?"

Love continued, "I felt like a lot people were against us and I mean, some of the whole world was against us." "But we need to shut everyone out and concentrate on ourselves and our family."
