However, the story was "full circle" when Denzel surprised Reese by telling how his daughter helped him.

Reese Witherspoon recalls a full circle moment when she was with Denzel Washington.

The 46-year old actress from "Your Place or Mine" appeared on Thursday's episode on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about her time as an intern at Washington's film set in 1995.

As a teen, Witherspoon worked as a preproduction intern on "Devil in a Blue Dress." One of her responsibilities was to park the cars of the stars.

"When Denzel came in I had to park my Porsche. This is not a good idea for a 17 year-old child with a new drivers license. She recalled, "Oh my God, I took all the gears off, it was horrible."

Reese had previously shared this part of the story, but she revealed that Witherspoon, 68, got wind of it and approached her at a wedding.

Jimmy Kimmel told the "Morning Show' star that he had seen him at a wedding a few years back. He said, "I heard you tell this tale about how you used park your Porsche.' I was like, "Yes, I did." He was like, "Yes, I did." He's not sure. He's [like], 'My daughter.'"

"And I was like, ‘That is amazing.’ It was full circle." Reese exclaimed, to which Kimmel replied, "You should let this woman ruin your car." It's fair."

Although Witherspoon was not against it, she joked that one her children should go to Washington and "destroy his next vehicle" in order to keep the cycle going.

Kimmel's appearance by Witherspoon was to promote her upcoming film "Your Place or Mine," which is a romantic comedy in the lead role alongside Ashton Kutcher.

"Debbie is best friends with Peter, but they are total opposites. According to the official plot synopsis, she longs for routine in LA with her son. He thrives on change in NY. "When they move in together for a week, they realize that what they thought they wanted might not be what is actually what they need."

Kutcher explained why the movie was so important to him in a Netflix release.

He said, "Through the years with every romantic comedy I thought of doing, I would always inquire if Reese was still available." "I have wanted to work alongside her all my career. So, when she approached me about the film, I instantly said yes.

It will be available on Netflix starting February 10.
