Rihanna appointed a new CEO for her lingerie label, Savage X Fenty.
In a statement sent to Vogue Business the businesswoman and singer announced her resignation as CEO of Savage X Fenty and named her successor.
Rihanna said, "It has been amazing to see the impact of our vision for Savage XFenty on the industry in the last five year," the 35-year-old singer added. This is only the beginning of our journey. We will continue to grow in ways that connect to the consumer.
Hillary Super, former CEO of Anthropologie Group and singer of "Life Me Up", will replace the original artist.
Rihanna said to Vogue Business: "I am so grateful and thrilled to welcome Hillary Super to our team as CEO. She is a strong and focused leader who is committed to taking the company to a higher level."
Super, on the other hand, was excited about her new role as CEO.
She said, "I am thrilled to be joining the Savage X Fenty Family." The brand is a major force in the lingerie industry and its unwavering dedication to inclusivity and courage is inspiring.
Rihanna founded Savage X Fenty back in 2018. The Grammy-winning singer will remain with Savage X Fenty as the executive chair, even though she is stepping down from her role as CEO.
According to Vogue Business Rihanna is set to officially switch positions on the 26th of June.
