Rob Kardashian is facing trial for alleged battery and assault from Black Chyna. Here are the latest details

Although Rob Kardashian has been separated from his mother Blac Chyna for many years, the assault and battery allegations are still being heard by the courts. After the breakup of the former couple, Rob posted intimate photos of Chyna (real name Angela White) on Instagram. He then claimed that Chyna had committed domestic violence against him in 2016. It's not surprising that the case has been so slow through the courts, with the Kardashian-Jenner clan being involved.

What's the Deal with Rob Kardashian's Lawsuit Against Blac Chyna's?

Rob Kardashian will be suing Dream's ex-girlfriend and mother, Blac Chyna, in the early 2022. Blac Chyna and Rob began dating in January 2016. However, their relationship quickly ended after he was accused of cheating in 2017.

What Went Wrong with Everything

Rob uploaded several photos of Chyna on his Instagram account at the time. Many deemed it revenge porn. His account was then suspended. However, it has been restored. Rob also filed a lawsuit against Chyna that year. He claimed that Chyna and the mom-of-2 had attacked him at their home in December 2016 and pointed a gun to his head. In a statement to E!, Chyna's lawyer denied the allegations. News, at the time of filing, maintained that Rob was not subject to a violent attack.

Chyna isn't going to take the lawsuit lightly. Her legal team spent the last few decades deposing many members of the KardashianJenner family including Kris Jenner, Rob's matriarch, as well as Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. E! obtained court documents. News reports that the four women were deposed in 2019 by Chyna's lawyers, who provided 25 hours of testimony.

Kardashian-Jenner Family Complaint About Subpoenas

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is attempting to block new subpoenas that would require them to depose again before the trial's February 2022 start date. In court docs, the family lawyer resisted the new subpoenas and demanded that they be "quashed" because they were an unwarranted annoyance to the family.

The lawyer cited the family's busy schedule and said that it would be "excessively disruptive and burdensome" to make additional depositions on such short notice. The hearing to discuss the subpoenas was scheduled for January 7, 2022. The trial is set to begin on February 23, 2022. This legal drama will be closely monitored by us over the coming months.
