Gayle King, CBS Mornings' host, got to hold the baby as she spoke with the proud mother about her family life.

Robert De Niro’s Daughter just made her TV debut with mother Tiffany Chen.

Chen, 45 spoke to Gayle King at CBS Mornings, where she held her baby and showed it to King.

Chen responded that Gia had made the life of the couple more enjoyable.

As King held Gia in her arms, she asked her jokingly, "What is your favorite Robert De Niro film?" Chen responded with a joke, "The movie where you're the star in the delivery room!"

Chen was even moved to tears by King's question.

King asked, "What is the best thing about Bob De Niro?"

Chen replied, "How much his family loves him." "That could make me teary-eyed."

Chen has also spoken about having Bell's Palsy diagnosed after Gia was born.

Chen, who had just left the hospital, said: "When I got home I felt like my tongue was strange."

"It started to feel a bit numb, tingly. Then I realized that my face felt strange. I had no idea what I felt. "It felt strange."

Chen then confirmed that King had asked her if she "looked differently" in the mirror.

When I arrived home, everything seemed to be falling apart. Chen said that her face felt like it was melting. "And then, a week later after giving birth was when everything hit."

"I tried to eat," said Chen. I tried to put food on a fork in my mouth, but it all came out. I was unable to eat. Then I started to slur. "There's really something going on here," I told myself.

Chen was told to "go straight to the hospital".

She revealed, "I lost my facial function as soon as I arrived at the hospital."

Chen and De Niro welcomed their daughter Gia Virginia in the first half of this year. The actor had previously shared with King some details regarding his baby.

King stated that the child was born on April 6, and her name is Gia Virginia Chen-De Niro. She weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces.

King claimed that De Niro had told her the pregnancy was "planned," and that both he, and Chen, "wanted" this child. She said the two were "overjoyed" at her arrival, and that "he is psyched about it and very excited."

De Niro has now seven children, with ages ranging from 51 years old to 1 month.

The actor has two children with Grace Hightower: Elliot (24), and Helen (11). He also shares twins Julian, Aaron and Toukie, 27 with his ex-girlfriend Toukie.
