Two days after Mackenzie filed for divorce, Mackenzie's ex-wife, the "Teen Mom," alum was arrested Wednesday.

Ryan Edwards was in more trouble this week when he was arrested by Mackenzie for stalking and violating an Order of Protection.

It is now clear how he broke the order and what led to his arrest.

According to legal documents obtained by Us Weekly and dated February 19, Mackenzie was sent two texts from the "Teen Mom," despite having been warned not to touch her. Ryan sent Mackenzie a text message on February 19, nine days after being told by his ex not to contact her under her order of protection.

"My God, I can't live my life with out you!" Sorry!" The reality star sent a message on February 19 stating that he was sorry.

He texted Mackenzie again three days later. In a February 23 message, he wrote: "For what it's value, I'm sorry. I do miss you."

Ryan was taken into custody on Wednesday. Hamilton County Sheriff's Office released a press release saying that Ryan was taken into custody for stalking, and violating an order to protect.

According to Us Weekly, Mackenzie had filed for divorce from Ryan two days prior to his arrest. In addition to temporary custody of their children, Stella, 2, and Jagger, 5, the 26-year old was granted a restraining or.

Ryan was arrested last month in Hamilton County, Tennessee for allegedly violating Mackenzie's order of protection. Ryan is accused of sharing intimate photos of her online, and accusing her of infidelity.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department press release, the 35-year old violated the order by talking with her father after it was issued. Before they arrested Mackenzie at his workplace, the Sheriff's Office found that he was also a victim of harassment.

Ryan was "in possession of drug paraphernalia" and two bags of suspected drugs when he was detained.

He was charged with harassment, drug paraphernalia possession, controlled substance possession and order of protection violation.

Ryan has been through a number of legal problems over the years. These include arrests for theft, heroin possession, and violating his probation terms. Ryan has also struggled with substance abuse.

Mackenzie and Ryan memorialized their relationship in the "Teen Mom Series" from 2009-2021. The couple were engaged in 2016 and got married five months later. They welcomed their son Jagger in 2018, and Stella in 2020.
