She revealed that it was a great feeling to reunite with her cast members for the first time since over ten years. However, she admitted that she would have "probably not come back" had she known Ronnie was coming.

Jersey Shore will soon be able to see Samantha Giancola, aka "Sammi Sweetheart", return to the show. The reality star spills all (sweet) details about her decision to return.

Sammi revealed in new interviews with The People as well as Variety what it was like to see her cast members -- including Ronnie Ortiz Magro for the first decade.

In the Season 7 Trailer, we see the 36-year old walking through the front door and shocking her former castmates, Mike "The Situation", Nicole "Snooki", Polizzi, Jenni JWoww, Paul "Pauly D", DelVecchio and Angelina Pivarnick, while on a trip to the mountains.

Sammi said to People that it was a very stressful experience. "It is definitely overwhelming, because I haven’t spoken to anyone in a long time. I haven't spoken to anyone in 10 years, or whatever the time period was. I'm like, "Are they going to be the exact same people? Are they different from each other? How did they develop? I was like, "I don't even know them anymore. They don't even know who I am. "How is it going be?"

She said that her and former co-stars had "gone our separate ways" since the revival premiered, and that she was not on it. But she added that there wasn't drama between them.

Sammi said, "It is hard to see people continue a show you are no longer a part." "I stayed in contact after I decided not to return in the beginning and then we lost touch for many years." It was sad.

Sammi remarked that her castmates are "still the same" despite the fact many of them have become parents.

She told Variety that she had waited until the last minute to join the revival.

She said, "I needed time to regroup and figure my own life out." "I was not in a good mental space. I couldn't perform the show at that time. "I'm glad that I can come back now and perform it."

She added, "I missed filming for all those years." Why not try it out again? Give it a go and see if you like it.

The trailer also featured the return of Sammi’s ex-boyfriend, Ronnie. He had left the show in 2021 in order to “seek medical attention for mental health problems that I’ve ignored for far too long.”

The original MTV series, which ran from 2009 to 2012, featured the tumultuous romance of the couple.

Sammi told People that she probably wouldn't come back if he had been on the show. She hadn't seen Ronnie in 11 years.

She told Variety, "At this stage, he is just a guy that I dated when I was in my 20s." We all have relationships. "He's just a coworker now."

Sammi shared her opinions on The Note which is also returning this season. You may recall that in Season 2, Snooki, JWoww and Sammi wrote a letter to Sammi informing her of Ronnie’s infidelity.

"I can definitely laugh about it now and make a joke of it." She joked, "I feel like this note will always be with me." "I'm not sure what I can do! It's funny. Many people, I think, cheat, especially when they are in their 20's. My story was on television. I had it all: friendships, cheating and bad relationships. It's funny to think back on those crazy times and laugh.
