They joined the royal family at Westminster Abbey to perform the service.
At Monday's state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II, there were two notable faces in the royal family: Sandra Oh (Killing Eve) and Bear Grylls (Survivalist).
Grylls was photographed outside the ceremony, greeting the crowd and before going inside. After becoming the youngest Chief Scout at the age of 34, Grylls was invited to the ceremony to represent the Scouts.
According to the website of the organization, he is the "public face" of Scouts in the UK and has been Chief Ambassador for World Scouting since 2018. He is "responsible for communicating the benefits of being a Scout to the world." In 2019, the Queen made him an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
How Queen Elizabeth II was honored by the Royals with their Funeral Attire
Grylls wrote on Monday about attending the funeral, saying, "It’s a day that we will never forget... it’s a truly beautiful testament of our Nation’s Sovereign Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth." Rest in peace. You have done your duty. "Long Live King Charles!"
He said that he will miss his quiet leadership, her integrity and values, as well as her great sense of humor. "While she was our patron and monarch, she made sure to hear our Scouts and recognize their accomplishments. Her smile would brighten up any room.
Let's find great comfort and solace in her warmth towards young people, her dedication to her duty, and above all her kindness. He said, "Let's remember our great Patron by showing the same kindness and respect to one another." "A great book has ended - not just one chapter - and a new chapter begins. We thank HM the Queen on behalf of all Scouts for her service. We will never forget her.
Oh was seen arriving with the Canada delegation. The "Killing Eve" star and "Grey's Anatomy” star wore a black ensemble and matching fascinator with a Canadian flag badge.
Born in Ontario, the 51-year old actress was elected an officer of Order of Canada in June. The actress was praised for her "artistic career that included memorable roles on the stage, in television and on film both here and abroad."
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau led the delegation, as did his wife Sophie. The Canadian delegation also included Olympian Mark Tewksbury and actress Sophie Winkleman, and Gregory Charles.
