Savannah Chrisley Calls Out Bobby Bones For His Comments About Parents' Conviction

Savannah Chrisley Calls Out Bobby Bones For His Comments About Parents' Conviction

"All I ask for is mutual respect and decency."

Savannah Chrisley has reacted to Bobby Bones' comments about her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, and their sentences in prison on his radio program.

The reality star took to Instagram Stories Tuesday to criticize Bones' parents for criticizing them. They are currently in prison for tax evasion and bank fraud. Savannah was not happy about the fact that the couple were found guilty.

"So... @mrbobbybones -- If you'd like me to talk about my family and the case, then let's get down and do it properly. Yes, BOTH my parents are in prison. Savannah, 25, said that this would be one thing you are right on. "BUT Studies have shown that only 4-6% of Americans incarcerated in US jails are innocent. If 5% are innocent, it means that 1/20 criminal cases will result in a wrongful conviction.

She said, "All that I ask is mutual respect and decency." "But for now, I will meet with you wherever you are at the moment. Let's chat!

The "Chrisley Knows Best” star posted a screenshot of what looked like a written report on a court case. She also wrote that she was free to research everything.

After being convicted earlier this year of tax fraud and bank fraud, Todd was sentenced in November to 12 years imprisonment. Julie received 7 years.

Todd, aged 53, and Julie (50) reported to jail on January 17, to begin their sentence. While the Chrisley patriarch is in Florida, the family matriarch will be in Kentucky lockdown.

After their release, the couple will have to complete 16 months probation.

On Tuesday's episode, Bobby Bones discussed Todd and Julie's legal problems during their imprisonment sentence.

"Once someone is convicted and found innocent, you can sort of say, 'Well they're guilty.' I have even said that if they are convicted and found guilty, you can say, "Well, they're guilty of this." There is no crow.

Bones and his cohosts continued to discuss Todd's case before Morgan Huelsman (radio show's digital director) read a comment Savannah made on "The Bobby Bones Show" Instagram account.

Huelsman claims Savannah called the radio station to complain about Todd's prison facility. She also claimed that Savannah said, "Laughter at others' expense isn't the best look on you."

Bones stated, in response to Savannah's comment that "there is no laughter at others' expense." "There was laughter if that prison was that fancy and also at the expense of other people?" He was convicted of stealing money.

Huelsman claimed Savannah's older brother Chase Chrisley also commented on their Instagram post. He allegedly wrote, "Zero Class as Usual." This is also completely false.
