Selena Gomez Responds to Criticism Over Perceived Francia Raisa Snub

Selena Gomez Responds to Criticism Over Perceived Francia Raisa Snub

Gomez said, "My only friend is Taylor [Swift]", and got a great response from her donor kidney.

Selena Gomez apparently caused drama while promoting "My Mind & Me", her documentary about longtime friend Francia Raisa.

Rolling Stone published a profile last week on the singer, in which she stated that she never fit in with "cool girls that were celebrities" but added that Taylor Swift is her only friend in the industry.

It seems like someone might have felt left out.

E! E! Fans pointed out that Raisa didn't follow Gomez, but Selena does.

One TikTok user dissected the drama on Sunday in a new video. He pointed out how Raisa donated her organs to Selena in 2017, but was not mentioned in the documentary.

Gomez said, "Sorry, I didn't include every person I know," in the video.

In an Instagram post, Gomez revealed Raisa's gift for the first time in 2017.

Francia Raisa wrote that she couldn't find words to express her gratitude for Francia. She gave her kidney to me as a gift and sacrifice. I feel so blessed. I love you so much sis."

Later, Francia and Francia did an interview on "TODAY", in which they shared their roommates' stories. Francia agreed to become her donor without hesitation.

Gomez said, "She did it because she wanted to." It is extremely difficult to find a match for someone who wants to volunteer. It's amazing that she was matched. It's absurd.

Selena credits Francia for saving her life.
