The grisly discovery was made when the suspect did not show up to his trial for solicitation of minor charges. He sent disturbing texts to the victim the night before the bodies were discovered.

Police in Oklahoma say a convicted sex offenders is accused of killing his wife, three of her teenage children, and two other girls during a sleepover at his house, before turning the murder weapons on himself.

Authorities discovered seven bodies on Monday in the yard of the house Jesse L. McFadden, 39 ( , pictured left) shared with his 35-year old wife Holly McFadden, and their children Rylee, 17, Michael, 15, and Tiffany, 13 ( , pictured top row). Holly's corpse was discovered outside the home next to Michael's and Tiffany's. The bodies of Rylee, Brittany Brewer, and Ivy Webster, two teenagers who had been staying in the house on a sleepover, were also found.

McFadden, the suspect police believes to be responsible for the murders of the victims, was also fatally shot.

Joe Prentice, Okmulgee Police chief, said at a Wednesday press conference (via CNN): "I have followed the evidence...and it is clear that Jesse McFadden killed six people before killing himself." "I have no evidence that indicates what the motive was."

Prentice said that the crime scene looked "staged" and suggested the bodies of the victims had been moved after their deaths. Prentice said that Holly was the owner of the gun used to commit these murders.

The grisly discovery was made hours after McFadden did not appear in court on Monday, where he had been scheduled to face trial for charges of soliciting sexual activity with a child and possessing child pornography. McFadden, who was serving time for a 2003 first-degree rape conviction, was accused in 2017 of communicating with an then-16-year old girl while he was in jail.

McFadden was reportedly listed on the Oklahoma Sex Offender Registry. However, Webster's parents said that they were unaware of his criminal record and learned about it only on Monday after reporting their daughter missing. News Nation reported that an Amber Alert was sent out for Webster and Brewer early on Monday, using McFadden’s mugshot. That's when the parents began piecing together what they were looking at.

All the children spent time together. We never had any problems with the family. Ashleigh Webster told CNN that his wife was very nice and would drop off any baked goods she made. Webster's mother said that her parents believed that the girls spent the weekend at McFadden family's ranch. They reported their daughter as missing after she did not return home Sunday night. Parents also believe Jesse used their daughter's cellphone to contact them after the murders, pretending to act as their daughter.

Ashleigh, a reporter for NewsNation, said: "We believe Jesse wrote it and that probably happened already at that time." "It wasn't the same, but I didn't pay attention because they might have been in a rush."

McFadden allegedly also texted the victim of the soliciting case Sunday night, the evening before he was to appear in court. The bodies were then discovered.

He allegedly wrote: "I did what I said I would when I left. I got a job in marketing, making great money. I was also being promoted. I've been there for 2 years and have made a wonderful life just like I promised to do with you." "Now, it's gone. I said I wouldn't return. "You are the one who has to answer for this.

Webster's dad told KFOR that he was "angry" with the system for allowing McFadden an early release from prison due to his rape conviction. He was sentenced for 28 years in prison, but was released after 17 years.

"This man has a history." Webster said that Webster was a sexual offender and was released on a sentence he shouldn't have received. "And if I were to ask you, if you made a mistake once, you would be there for the rest of your life."
