"The sacrifices I made to love you, were wasted!"

Christine Brown was brutally open about her decision to divorce Kody Brown... and he wasn’t too happy to hear it.

Kody, a 50-year-old reality star, sat down on Sunday's episode TLC with her former sisters Janelle, Robyn, and Meri to discuss their relationship and offered an explanation for her departure.

Christine admitted that she felt the same way a year ago when she looked at Kody and mine's relationship. But, she hadn't made the decision to leave. "I looked at my relationship and realized how it was. It's not something I would recommend to any friend.

Christine's claims were met by Kody, who responded with his own thoughts about their relationship. He began with "This is what i remember."

"You were more interested in the family than the man," he said. He shared his theory about the reasons their relationship ended. "But it became about him and not the family. That, I believe, is where my anger lies. This is why I am struggling with this. We have invested, invested, invested. It wasn't about our family, it was about us. This is both my frustration, and also my accusation.

He said, "I am angry that you weren’t willing to invest into the family, but I was only interested in what you could do for me -- me as a resource. It breaks my heart that it is over.

"I thank you that you took off the bandaid so quickly. It was never going to work, if it had to all be about me as I had always indicated it was," the 53-year old family patriarch replied.

Kody lost his cool with Christine throughout the episode. He exclaimed, "Man! Just the knife in my kidneys over all those years!" All the sacrifices I made to love and support you have been wasted!

He added, "I feel like I've been sucking up with her for the past 14 years," confessional. "I was trying to be a loving husband, and now that she is leaving, I felt like giving her some of my thoughts with that going. It's not my fault. This is how I feel. It doesn't matter if it's unfair. This is how I feel. This is what she did."

Christine later admitted that although her decision was difficult, she didn't regret it.

She continued, "I believe this is one the most saddest conversations that I have ever had." "I don’t regret leaving, but."
