Mini pumpkin pies topped with dollops of whipped cream

Holidays bring with them the expectation that festive pies and baked goods will be a show stopper. It can be difficult to get them on the table during busy times of year, especially if you aren't a baker.

There's so much to do on holiday, it's hard to think about how you can make the pie crust perfect. There are many options to help you get through the holiday season.

Chelsea Dyan, an Instagrammer, shares a viral recipe for making bite-sized pumpkin pies. This crowd-pleasing, no-bake dessert requires a pumpkin pie from the store, a cookie cutter and some whipped cream.

Spray both sides of the cookie cutter using nonstick cooking spray to make pumpkin pie bites. You can use it to cut out your store-bought pumpkin pie and then put them on a platter. Each tiny pie should be topped with whipped cream and chopped pecans, or cinnamon or ginger, if you like.

What should you do about all that pie left over? Dyan has a solution: pumpkin pie pops!

Mix the remaining pie and a tablespoon of canned pumpkin in a large bowl. The mixture is then molded into small balls with a teaspoon. You can also use an ice-cream scoop or melon baller to make the cake balls.

She melts the chocolate chips in the microwave while she waits. After the cake balls are chilled, she inserts a treat stick into each of them. After coating each pumpkin ball with the melted chocolate, she drizzles caramel sauce over them before returning the cake pops back to the fridge to harden.

When you share a platter with tempting, but super simple desserts to your family, you will be sure they think you are a master of baking.
