Suzanne Somers, 76, died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer.

Hollywood remembers legendary TV actress Suzanne SOMER.

Somers passed away on Sunday, aged 76, after a long battle with cancer. Somers died peacefully in her home, according to an announcement on her Instagram account. She was surrounded by family members who gathered for her 77th Birthday, which took place on October 16.

"Suzanne Somers died peacefully in her home at the dawn of October 15th. She had survived a form of aggressive breast cancer for more than 23 years. The announcement stated that Suzanne was surrounded with her husband Alan, son Bruce and her immediate family.

In the statement, it was stated that "her family gathered on 16th October to celebrate her birthday." They will instead celebrate her life and thank the millions of her fans and followers.

After the sad news of her passing, fans and celebrities began to express their feelings. Everyone from Viola Davis and Khloe Kim Kardashian to Barry Manilow as well as fellow comedian Kathy Griffin expressed their love for Three's Company's alum.

"RIP Suzanne Somers. I watched Three's Company as a child. You were always young and a joy. Davis wrote "Rest well" alongside a video of Somers through the years.

This one hurts me. "I love you @suzannesomers," Kardashian wrote on her Instagram Stories. She shared a picture of the famous Thigh Master tool used by the fitness enthusiast. I'll never forget the positive outlook you have on life. Your gentle heart and sweet spirit! Rest, dance, smile in paradise..."

Manilow shared a statement to The People regarding his longtime friendship, telling the outlet he will miss the Step By Step actor dearly.

"Suzanne was my friend for many years. Manilow described her as "the sister I never had, and my closest confidant for life." We shared both joys and sorrows. "Her fame in so many different fields obscured her true talent as one our greatest comedic actresses, a loving mom, an amazing housemaker, and one the world's top cooks."

He said, "I'll miss her deeply and hope she is now at peace and out of pain."

Adam Carolla, a radio host, also paid tribute to Somers. He tweeted: "Devastated by the news of Suzanne Somers's passing." A true icon, and an amazing human being. "You will be missed greatly, my friend."

Griffin, for her part, called Somers a pioneer, highlighting Somers' efforts to achieve equal pay in Hollywood, especially in the comedy world.

Somers, who had previously battled skin cancer and hyperplasia during her 20s and 30s, was diagnosed with breast carcinoma in her 50s.

In July, she revealed she had been battling cancer for years. She told Entertainment Tonight: "I've lived with cancer ever since I was 20." Every time this little f---er pops up, it continues to annoy me. "I try to resist this disease."

This week, a private family burial will be held for Somers. A memorial service is scheduled to take place next month.
