Somers, who had been battling cancer for decades, died on Sunday at age 76.

Suzanne Somers’family shares a birthday tribute after her death earlier this week.

Somers passed away on Sunday, October 16, at the age 76 after a long battle with cancer. Somers died peacefully in her home, according to an announcement posted on her Instagram account. She was surrounded by family members who had gathered for her 77th Birthday, which took place on October 16.

Somers' granddaughter Violet, as well as her son Bruce Somers Jr., took to Instagram to express their love for the late actress.

Violet sent Zannie her "last birthday greeting" with the caption "Fearless". Unstoppable.

"Dear Zannie: 'Thank You' is not enough. You made me feel loved. Violet wrote: "I know you'll be peacefully gone, but I already miss you."

I'll miss the thick black ink you used on your birthday cards. Satin ribbons for gifts. You love to eat sweets, so I will miss seeing you devour an extra slice of cake. I'll miss your voice and your singing at dinner. Fearless. Unstoppable. I don't even know where you will go. I just hope that you can sing. "All your favorites", she continued.

She also included a carousel with pictures and videos that she took of her grandmother. Somers even sent some sweet messages via text.

"I welcome you with the greatest warmth into the other realm. She said, "I'm sure you will see the light and follow it to everyone you have ever known."

"I'm sure you will feel a warm embrace, or as if you were back in your womb. You will be loved so much. You'll be my first hug when I leave. We will cook again and go shopping. We'll eat every cake and Thanksgiving dinner you can imagine. "In the meantime, relax," said Violet.

"Your legacy will always remain here and I'll keep you close to me." You'll be there to guide me at times when I most need you and also in unexpected moments. You can visit me in the form of a yellow or any other color you choose. I know you want to see my babies but we all have our own plans. It's a beautiful mystery. We love you and are here to support you. The gratitude that we feel for you is so great, "Thank You" can never be enough. It goes like this... "I love you more than I know," she wrote.

"Happy Birthday Zannie. Love, Violet."

Bruce Somers, Somers's son, also paid tribute to his mother.

He wrote: "She rose higher than many can imagine." "She was there for those who had no voice. She asked questions that most people didn't even know to ask. She opened up about her own challenges and offered solutions. She was seen by many as a courageous warrior who spoke out about their fears. She was not fearless but she faced her fears so that we could learn."

"She was an entertainer, a icon, a friend, wife, sister, daughter, and an icon. Bruce continued, "But to me she was just mom." Bruce continued, "I was the only one who could call her Mom. We were always against the world when we were growing up. Then she took over the world. No matter how well prepared we are, it's never too early. She will live on through me, as she taught to be kind, present, love and be adored, care, express and always speak from the soul.

"Mom you gave me all the tools I need, but I will still need to be guided by your spirit." I can feel and see you. Your sweet touch and your caring eyes, which would peer deep into my soul to confirm that all was well, will be missed. You are the best mother a son could ask for. I miss you already. I'm not satisfied with 57 years. Yet, I have received more love than I ever imagined. I love you so dearly. You would have celebrated your 77th Birthday today. Enjoy all the cake you like while you make the angels laugh, sing and dance. "Today, Heaven is lucky," concluded he.
