In 2015, Kate Hudson was briefly smitten by Nick Jonas. After Hudson's older brother Oliver introduced them to each other in 2015, rumors started. He and Jonas were at the time co-stars in the series Scream Queens. However, it would take many months before the couple admitted to their wild romance.

They were first seen together in Florida just a few months after their initial meeting. InStyle reports that Hudson went to Orlando to see Jonas at the House of Blues. They also visited Disney World while they were in Orlando.

They were captured riding together on a roller coaster at the most magical spot on Earth. Hudson and Jonas had brunch in Miami the next day.

The two stars did not speak out about their relationship when the rumors first started to circulate. Hudson was asked directly about her relationship with Jonas in a 2015 interview on Bravo's Live. Andy Cohen asked Hudson about her relationship with Jonas. She replied, "I don’t like to address any kind of gossip."

"We did have a beautiful connection"

Although Hudson refused to talk about their relationship, Jonas admitted that he had a secret fling with Hudson in a 2016 interview with complex. Jonas answered the question in a wacky way after being asked about his sexual life with Hudson.

"Kate's incredible. The singer said that they had an amazing connection, as two people who simply admire each other and find something beautiful in each other. "I will not reveal if we had sex, although I made every effort to respect her privacy."

Jonas wasn't content to stop there. He couldn't stop talking about Hudson and their relationship. He continued, "We had a beautiful relationship." She is a woman I admire and respect deeply. She's amazing."

Hudson seemed to be pleased with the fact that she felt this way about her. As she spoke to Gayle King, the actress described Jonas in a 2016 interview with CBS This Morning as "a sweetheart and a great guy".

The "unbelievable connection" between Jonas and Hudson disappeared within a few months after the Complex interview. Hudson was seen with Diplo in May 2016 and Jonas was photographed with Lily Collins.

Seven years later, their relationship has ended and the stars are now married to long-term partners. Hudson is currently engaged to Danny Fujikawa, a musician. The couple has one child. Jonas and actress Priyanka have been married since 2018. They welcomed a daughter through surrogate in 2022.

Jonas Hudson and Hudson have a strong connection, even though it wasn't for a long time.
