Teen Mom's Ryan Edwards Pleads Guilty to Harassment, Additional Charges Dropped

The judge advised him to not mess with the plea agreement he made during his divorce proceedings from Mackenzie Edwards.

Ryan Edwards, the star of "Teen Mom," avoided jail by pleading guilty in a Tennessee court to harassment on Tuesday.

Edwards was sentenced to a probationary period of 11 months and 29 days. He also received additional charges for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substances. Edwards was released on $55,000 bond.

Additionally, he was ordered to wear a GPS tracking device during probation. He must also enter a rehabilitation center in Austin, Texas for at most 45 days. According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, Judge Gary Starnes said to the reality star that forty-five days was not going to detox him. "You must stay there between six months and a year."

"Don't mess it up. "I will not hesitate to cancel your probation," he warned. He also stated that Edwards was to not have contact with Mackenzie Edwards who filed for divorce earlier in the year. "No contact with victim. Starnes said Edwards that there was no social media related to the victim. All that you do or say on social media will be published.

Edwards was also told by him not to reply to any messages about himself on social networks.

Ryan was arrested in Hamilton County Tennessee on February 2nd for allegedly violating Mackenzie's order of protection. Ryan is accused of sharing intimate photos of her online, and accusing her of infidelity.

According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department press release, the 35-year old violated the order by talking with her father after it was issued. Before they arrested Ryan at his workplace, the Sheriff's Office found that he was also in possession of a warrant for harassment. Mackenzie was listed as the victim. Ryan was said to be "in possession of drug paraphernalia" and two bags of suspected drugs when he was detained.

Mackenzie filed for divorce later. The 26-year old was also granted temporary custody of the two children, Stella, 2, and Jagger, 5. Edwards was again taken into custody for stalking and violating an orders of protection two days later.

Edwards has two children with Mackenzie. He also shares a son Bentley with Maci Bookout, "Teen Mom" star.
