These Celebs Dished On Balancing Fame and a Personal Life

These stars, including moms like Rihanna and Gwen Stefani openly discuss the struggle to find balance.

It can be hard to balance a career and family life while also trying to find time for friends, family, and a few minutes of relaxation.

It can be difficult to maintain a healthy work/life balance, even with great support. Celebrities admit it can be difficult despite the fact that they have plenty of resources.

Celebs with kids will find it especially difficult to make sure they spend enough time with them, given their busy schedules. Even though these celebrities know that they don't have the answers, it is nice to hear that many people feel the same about work/life balance.

These stars have some words to share about how they balance fame and family.

1. Rihanna

Rihanna became a mother for the first time in 2022. She recently spoke out about how she manages her family and her extremely successful career. She admits that she has not yet found the perfect balance, as she wants to spend time with her son. She says that she has decided to be selective about the things she takes on.

"The balance is almost impossible, because work is always going to take time away from your child. This is the currency, and that's where it goes. Rihanna spoke at a press conference about the weight of the currency. It must be worth it when you decide what you will say yes to.

2. Beyonce

Beyonce is open about the fact that it can be difficult to do everything. Beyonce says that children are the most difficult because she wants to be there to take them to school every morning.

Balance between work and family is what I find most stressful. She shared her struggles with Elle about making sure she was there for her children. This included dropping Blue off at school and taking Rumi, Sir and Sir to their activities. It can also be difficult to make time for date nights with my spouse and to get home in time to enjoy dinner with my family.

3. Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth admits that it can be difficult to find a balance between work and family life in the entertainment industry, but he does his best to include his family whenever possible. He said that he is grateful to have the opportunity to take his children along on sets when he can.

"Half of the time, it is out of my control. When it's within my control or I have an opinion on the matter, I try to be at home as much and as close as possible with my children. Chris shared his thoughts with CNBC Make It.

4. Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes says she has struggled to balance work and family life, just like every working mom. Eva decided to stop pushing herself beyond her limits and instead focus on her role as a mom. Eva explained that she couldn't take her girls away because there was "nothing that felt worthwhile". "I am so attached to my children -- I don't want them to go. But I know that I have to work. Eva said that they are still very small. News. News. It's something I have been trying to figure out, and it's important to have support. Ryan is my family, and I have Ryan's family. It's invaluable to have family supporting you.

5. Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani enjoys being a mother to her children. However, it can be extremely difficult. Gwen said that managing all of it, from getting up in the morning to maintaining a schedule to making sure they are heard, is the most difficult thing she has ever done.

It's great to be a mom. But it can also be very difficult. Gwen shared her struggle to find the right balance between family and work.

6. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is well aware that being in the limelight can have negative consequences on her personal and family life, particularly for her children. While she is sometimes required to travel for certain projects, Sarah Jessica Parker reminds herself that there are large periods when she can be at home. This is unlike traditional parents who work long hours.

"We had two instances recently when Matthew and I worked, and it was so difficult on the children...On the flip side, there are large chunks of time that we're at home a lot more often than parents who work conventionally. Parade's Sarah said that she hopes to make up the difference.

7. Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff opened up early in her parenting journey about how she found balance between work and family. She shared that she had difficulty doing all she wanted, as she felt she was missing something.

"It is hard to believe that you can have it all. I think you can to a certain degree, but fully loaded, pedal-all-the-way-down is tough. You are missing out on something, whether it's your career or your family. Hilary spoke out in a Redbook interview about feeling guilty when I'm very busy at work.

8. Felicity Huffman

Felicity Huffman is very honest about how she balances work and personal life. She admits that she doesn't know how to do it all and sometimes feels like she's failing, even though she's trying her best.

People ask me all the time, "How do you balance your home and work?" "People always ask me how you balance work and home life. I answer them that I don't. People tells her that she just drops the ball all the times. "Sometimes, I feel like I'm failing both as a mother AND an actress. But I try to keep moving forward joyfully.

9. Debra Messing

Debra Messing believes that knowing your limits is the most important aspect of managing work/life balance. She took a while to learn how much she could handle and what it took to be the best mother she could be.

It is important to set boundaries and understand your limits. It took me a while, but I now know how much time I can spend on a TV show without feeling exhausted. You should also ensure that you have support and help from your family, friends, and babysitters. Even if you don't have work, it's extremely difficult. It's even more difficult when you have a full time job. I learned that lesson hard.

10. Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Gyllenhaal was raised by a working mother and grandmother. While they were a good example for Maggie, it can be difficult to manage her own work/life balance.

She told Working Mother that she was surrounded by many working moms, including my grandmother who is a pediatrician and my mother who is a writer and producer. "I thought, 'Well that's what moms do. They both work and have their children. I was raised to believe that I could be anything I wanted professionally while also being a mother. It's complicated, I'm learning. It takes a lot of planning and thought, and I still haven't found the right solution.

11. Naomi Watts

Naomi Watts admitted to feeling overwhelmed by the demands of being a mother. She admits that she has struggled to balance her two jobs and sometimes feels like she is falling short.

"I chose to become a mother. This is something I have always wanted but it feels like I am torn between two worlds. Because I have two young children, I don't reach the same heights or depths as I did in movies. It's frustrating because it feels like I'm failing on both ends," she said to Blackbook magazine.
