The massive Christmas decoration was returned home after being offered a $2k reward.

Two Grinches from real life pulled off a very shameful holiday heist in Houston, Texas.

The Fuhrmann family was robbed of a 16-foot inflatable Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Thankfully, the story has a happy end, just as the film in which the reindeer appears.

The Fuhrmanns posted their Ring camera footage of this brazen theft online earlier in the week, and then appealed to local news outlets for its return.

The video shows a woman stopping in front their house, then getting out of her pickup truck to unplug the giant, illuminated reindeer. The woman then drives away and returns with a helper, as she tries to inflate the inflatable to get it into her truck.

A woman was also seen peering into a large mailbox that had been set up for children to send letters to Santa. The front yard was left empty with the Santa inflatable, 20-foot tall.

"They stole from the neighborhood children in all reality," you say. Ernest Fuhrmann told Fox 26. "That's the essence of why we do it. Stealing Christmas, I don't mean they won't allow it.

He said, "I don’t know what kinda person would come by to take Christmas decorations." "I don't know. Christmas is all about giving.

Rudolph's family offered $2,000 to anyone who could help them. Fox reported that Rudolph's family wanted to make it worthwhile for someone to turn him in. We'll get there, I don't know what $2,000 will be in 2023.

Someone came through on Friday morning.

Brittany Ford, KHOU reporter, said that Fuhrmann called Friday morning to report that someone had sold the decoration along with the rode. Ford added that he had paid $2k for the reward and no questions were asked. He also stated that it was the exact same inflatable.

UPDATE: Rudolph has returned home! !
