You may feel transported back to your childhood when you hear the expression "Keep the Change, filthy Animal." These words are a reminder of my childhood, as I grew up watching Home Alone in the holiday season.

Macaulay Culkin's line while portraying Kevin McCallister in Home Alone, is only one of many phrases we love and know from the classic movie. The actor used other phrases in childhood that are interesting to look back at.

Culkin was the TV star of choice for interviews in the 1990s. Culkin is known for his great interviews, from Live with Regis & Kathie Lee to ET and many others.

He was articulate and had excellent answers to all the questions that were thrown at him. Rewatching these interviews will reveal why the actor stopped acting at 14 years old.

A TikTok video features Culkin in a 1990 interview with ET. The clip features Culkin, a child actor, sharing his five favorite phrases. These are: "Hour lunch; it’s a wrap; we’ll see you next Monday; and see you next week" and "It was nice working with you."

We agree with the caption of the video that Macaulay Culkin, Home Alone... was so cute, but a 10-year old talking about an hour for lunch is problematic.

Although most children would prefer a longer lunch break at school, and an hour-long lunch might even be their dream, Culkin admits that he is very aware of the realities of working life.

It appears that the child star was tired if "it’s a wrap” was one of his favorite phrases.

This video also shows that children actors must follow the same procedures as their adult counterparts. Should children actors be expected to follow the same standards as Hollywood adults?

Culkin shared his experiences as a child star and filming the Home Alone films over the years. Culkin, who was forced to adhere to a rigorous schedule, said on The Tonight Show that he had to get to work at 4:00 am as a ten year-old.

For most people, 4:00 a.m. is a good time to start the day. Culkin was looking forward to the phrase "It's wrap" and early morning shoots, so it's not surprising that he took a break from acting in his teens.
