Tiffany Cross, former MSNBC anchor, was fired earlier this month. But it seems like she is ready to fight back. Cross hired Bryan Freedman, an attorney to help her find answers to her sudden dismissal.
After nearly two years of being on the air, Cross, former host of Cross Connection was fired on November 4. Many speculated that there had been some drama behind Cross's sudden dismissal.
Page Six reported Rashida Jones, NBC's head, had a personal issue with Cross. Other sources suggest that Cross's expensive expense reports are the reason. Officially, Cross' reporting was not up to network standards.
Others say she displayed "repeatedly bad behavior on- and off-air." Cross made incendiary remarks on-air, calling for Florida to be "castrated."

Cross wants to know if it was a business decision, or a personal vendetta. Cross just hired Freedman. Freedman was the same lawyer that helped Gabrielle Union when she left America’s Got Talent. According to the actress, she was faced with workplace diversity issues. After Kelly's dismissal by NBC, Megyn Kelly was also represented by Freedman.
"The lawyers are in touch. A source said that she wanted to know why she was fired. Page Six. "What is the business case for her being let go? Brian Williams lied, and they brought him home. Joe [Scarborough] was a liar and Mika [Brzezinski] had an affair. They increased their hours and paid more. Many in the business feel that [Cross] is an example to them all."
Another source refuted Cross' claims of accruing $100,000 in expenses while staying in five-star hotels. He said, "Joe & Mika stay there every day." Cross is being supported by other former employees of MSNBC.
Keith Olbermann tweeted: "It's an tradition as old and MSNBC itself." If an anchor quits -- or is fired -- NBC anonymously [smears] that talent and [portrays] them [as a prima donna]." NBC fired Cross whether for business or personal reasons. Cross and Freedman are expected to resolve the matter.
