Swinton spoke at SXSW about a new film project and said, "I was told that I should wear a mask at every time."

Tilda Swinton is frustrated by the unending pandemic.

The South by Southwest film festival was where the star shared her thoughts with the crowd. She asked them, "Is Texas a place where people used masks?" "I have to ask."

She later said that she was about to take a photo in Ireland and that she had been told to wear a mask all the time.

Swinton stated, "I'm certain this is being recorded," before telling the audience that she was "very well."

Swinton spoke out about Long Covid's effects on her health, and the experience of filming.

Swinton said that she was "coughing like an elderly gentleman who smoked cigarettes for 70 years" and suffered from vertigo.

"I am normally very quick at reading and picking up information, but this was almost like chewing a huge piece of gum. Swinton noted that Anderson doesn't like lines to be remembered. This is due to his unique style of directing.

Swinton isn't the only actor who has spoken out against Covid protocol on set. In an interview with The New York Times Magazine, Woody Harrelson spoke out against these protocols.

Harrelson says, "I don’t believe that anyone should be able to demand that you do the testing, force you to wear the mask and get vaccinated for three years."

Tim Robbins, who also tweeted to support Harrelson commented that "Woody was right." It's time to stop this charade. Robbins also identified SAG-AFTRA as Fran Drescher, President of the organization, who is also against the Covid protocols.

Swinton was there to promote her new A24 film, "Problemista", with Julio Torres as the director.

The film was premiered at the festival on March 13th. Variety reports that it follows Alejandro (Torres), an El Salvadoran aspiring toy designer who struggles to bring his unique ideas to New York City. His work visa expires and he is forced to find work as an assistant for an eccentric art-world outcast (Swinton), in order to stay in the country.
