Sandoval had already started a conflict when he told Ariana he found it "frustrating", that she "never agreed" with him, or took his side on the Vanderpump Rules episode.

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval were reportedly planning their future just a few short months before they split up following Raquel Leviss' affair with the former.

In the episode of "Vanderpump Rules" that aired on Wednesday, Sandoval and Madix talked about their plans to create embryos while discussing Tom's upcoming doctor's appointment.

Ariana laughed after Sandoval said he would be healthy when he made his appointment to "deposit" sperm. "If you've got s---, I wouldn't want that to go near the s--- I worked so hard to harvest for my body."

She explained in a confessional: "Two year ago, I frozen my eggs and was able retrieve 26 of them. That's like, really really good. Like, incredible. Good job, ovaries."

Madix did note that "her previous stance on everything related to being pregnant or giving birth" "has not really changed." The episode featured a clip from 2017 of Ariana and Tom, in which she admitted that she didn't wish to have children. Tom said he wanted at least three or four.

Madix still chose to freeze her eggs despite this. She said: "I don't want biological clocks to control anything. And those eggs are more viable when fertilized."

Sandoval asked Ariana whether they would ever "use" eggs. She replied, "I'm not sure, maybe, perhaps not. I don't think I care much if we use the eggs. I don't think I will get pregnant.

Tom confessed in a journal that he had been "excited" the first time Ariana asked him to fertilise her eggs. However, he questioned her decision, as she wasn't sure if she wanted to have kids.

"Why would Ariana ask me to fertilize her eggs, when we may or may not have children depending on what she decides?" He asked.

Sandoval, in the previous conversation, was concerned that he would not be able drink alcohol before his appointment because he was stressed out while Tom Schwartz and he were trying to open their bar and wanted to "blow steam."

Ariana said that she thought he could "do that without drinking". She told Sandoval that they needed to find healthier coping mechanisms. Sandoval seemed annoyed and explained to Madix how he sometimes finds it difficult to speak to her because she doesn't agree with him.

He said "You never agree with my, dude," to which Ariana responded in disagreement: "We've agreed a lot in this conversation."

Sandoval told Ariana, "It gets frustrating" when she does not take his side. He said that it felt like this started during the summer. It's important to note that Raquel's and Tom's relationship reportedly started in the summer.

Sandoval said to Madix, "I've been explaining to you situations, my point-of-view, for the past few months. It feels to me like you're very quick to accept the other person's perspective when I say something."

He said that he didn't want anyone to have his back "unconditionally," but he also added that Ariana seems to question Ariana's "intelligence" and think he is an "idiot."

She replied, "Tom I would never be with anyone I thought was stupid, firstly, and secondly, if you thought I was an idiot, I wouldn't have been with you." "I'd be so f---ing kind to you all of the time."

Sandoval said that he felt like he was "annoying Ariana", to which Ariana joked about him doing it "on purpose."

"Well, it's one thing," said he with a grin, adding "I'm saying if I'm not intentionally doing it."

Ariana responded, "Tom, since we've known each other for so long, I can imagine how annoying I must be."

Madix and Sandoval ended their nine-year relationship in March 2023 after discovering Leviss' affair.
