When it was released in theaters, the 2003 Pixar classic Finding Nemo created a sensation around the world. The movie, which followed a father on his quest to find Nemo who was swept away in the Great Barrier Reef by a storm, lasted 31 weeks. It was a huge success, bringing in $871 million over the course of the movie's run in tens of thousands of cinemas across the globe.

Incredibles II was released in 2018 and made more than $180 million during its first weekend. This set a record as the biggest animated debut in American history. The film, which brought the superhero family to the big-screen for the second time in 2018, crossed the $1 billion mark within 46 days, faster than any animated film ever.
