Tori Spelling: Social Media Haters, 'I've been Getting That Since 16'

"Shockingly, most of the negative comments come from women and moms, sometimes even."

Tori Spelling speaks out about her experiences with hateful people since she was a teenager.

Fox News Digital interviewed the "Messyness” star about the impact of the negative comments that she has received since she started her career.

Spelling was just 16 when she landed the role of Donna Martin in "Beverly Hills 90210". Since then, Spelling has starred in many movies including "Scary Movie 2", and "The House of Yes."

The 48-year old revealed that she has been getting this skin since the age of 16 when my career began.

She admitted that it was difficult to deal with. "I try to ignore negative comments at this point but I am human. It's okay to fall into that rabbit hole from time to time, but ultimately it's about learning to let go and remember, it's not all about me. It's ultimately about them and their feelings.

Spelling said, "They need to tear people down."

Surprisingly, the actress of "Trick" admitted that the majority of negative comments come from women and moms.

She said, "We talk so often about, you know. women support women. women build one another up. we got to be there to each other."

Spelling shared with her Instagram followers that her whole family had contracted the COVID-19 virus. She wrote about her feelings of hopelessness as a mother.

According to the "Beverly Hills 90210" alum, having Covid is difficult because she has to care for her children and also manage her own illness.

Spelling said, "Nothing is worse that wanting to take care of your children but feeling so sick you cannot function," I feel completely useless as a parent. Devastated. Moms are supposed to care for their children when they get sick. This is how it works.

"But, we all are getting through [sic] it together. She continued, "I know we're not alone" and said that many other people have experienced Covid or have gone through it. Spelling thanked her friend for dropping a package of vitamins at the front door after hearing that the family was sick.

"Messyness" host, Lisa concluded her post by stating that she would respond to her followers and friends if they didn't understand and to give her time.
