The television personality announced earlier this month that she would be leaving "DWTS" after three seasons in order to concentrate on her business.

Tyra Banks shares her thoughts about Julianne Hough taking over as co-host on "Dancing with the Stars."

Interview with Us Weekly: The television personality, who recently announced that she was leaving Disney+'s competition series after three seasons, had nothing but positive things to say about Hough as her co-host. She called the professional dancer "a perfect selection."

"The businesswoman within me sees Julianne's greatness on many levels. Banks stated that she is a professional dancer. She is the sister ofDerek [Hough], a DWTS multi-champion who is now a star judge. This will be a family affair that people will enjoy watching in the ballroom. She is a strong personality with strong opinions, backed up by expert knowledge. She is the perfect choice! She's gonna crush it!"

Banks stunned viewers earlier this month when she spoke with TMZ to discuss her exit from "Dancing with the Stars."

She said, "I feel it is time for me to really concentrate on my business and my entrepreneurial endeavors and also produce more TV... but behind-the scenes." I believe it's time for me to move from the dance floor to stock market floor, from ballroom to boardroom.

"Don't think it's too late? She agreed. "I'm an entrepreneur at heart. My heart, my soul, and my business are in my business. We're also working on new TV. A new show about business is in the works. But I want to be able to focus on my business and not host a show.

During her interview with Us, the supermodel spoke out about what she will miss most about hosting "Dancing with the Stars."

Banks stated, "I loved going out every week in extravagant outfits to such an exciting ballroom."

She said that it was a treat to see professional dancer, and "DWTS" judge Derek Hough "dance in real life," while the "ANTM” star praised his "mind-boggling incredibleness!"

Banks spoke out about what she will miss about Judge Carrie Ann Inaba, her co-host Alfonso Ribeiro. She said that Carrie Ann's warmth and kindness, as well as reminiscing about Alfonso's 'Fresh Prince days, are all things she will miss.

Hough, along with her returning co-host Alfonso Ribeiro, announced that she would host "Dancing with the Stars" just a few days after Banks had announced her departure.

"It's an honor to return to 'Dancing with the Stars,' as cohost. Variety spoke to Hough about the special place the show holds in his heart, based on the many years and various roles he played.

She continued, "The amazing team that brings the ballroom alive every night has been my family over the past 17 years,". I am thrilled to be reunited with Alfonso and Carrie Ann, Bruno and Derek, the unbelieveably talented pros, as well as the incredible cast on the dance floor.

She concluded, "The energy is magnetic every single time you step into the ballroom and it's something I can't wait for again -- and to share it with the absolute best of my loyal fans -- for another thrilling season."

Hough has a long history with the series, as she mentioned. From 2007 to 2009, she was a professional dancer and appeared on Seasons 4-8. Later, she returned to the series as both a guest judge or full-time judge.
