Hey Millennials, did the 2021 debut of the ICarly reboot make it seem old? It seems like yesterday when you tuned in to Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh. Today, Drake Bell has been charged with child endangerment. Maybe it's difficult to believe that Jamie Lynn Spears, best known for her high school student Zoey Brooks, is a mother to two.

This is all to say, we are amazed at how fast time has passed since our first encounter with these child stars. It's amazing that they are still in the spotlight after all these years (some for better than others). Take a stroll down memory lane to find out where your favorite Nickelodeon actors are today.

Their Most Famous Moments

Victoria Justice first appeared on TV in 2003's episode of Gilmore Girls. However, her fame is primarily due to children's channels. Justice was the top-billed character on the sitcom Victorious after three seasons on Zoey101. She also appeared on shows such as The Suite Life of Zack & Cody , iCarly and Zack & Cody . She was the aspiring singer Tori Vega for four seasons. It also won two consecutive Kids’ Choice Awards (2012) and (2013) for Favorite TV Show.

What they're doing now

Justice, now 28, is an entertainer and singer who splits her time between acting and singing. She starred alongside Laverne cox in 2016's Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again. She self-released "Stay" as well as "Too Fkin' Nice" this year.

She hasn’t forgotten her roots. She hosted a virtual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in 2020.

Their Most Famous Moments

When Drake Bell first appeared on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show, he was only 13 years old. Five years later, he and his co-star Josh Peck created their own spin-off Drake & Josh. The Odd Couple-like sitcom ran for four seasons from 2004 to 2007 and produced three full-length movies made for TV. Bell was also a successful musician and wrote and performed the theme song for "I Found a Way". He won multiple Kids' Choice Awards as Favorite TV Actor or Favorite Show.

What they're doing now

Bell enjoyed a long and successful career after Nick, voicing Spider-Man on several TV series, including Avengers Assemble and Hulk, the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. and Ultimate Spider-Man. Bell has also released five studio albums, including one that charted on US 200.

Recent legal problems have jeopardized his career and reputation. Bell pleaded guilty in July to child endangerment charges stemming from an incident that involved a 15-year old girl. Bell was sentenced to 200 hours community service and two years probation.

Jennette McCurdy

Their Most Famous Moments

Jennette McCurdy's best-known role is that of Sam Puckett in iCarly. She starred in two seasons on the spin-off Sam & Cat after its five-year-long run. She showed promise as an artist, landing on Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart for "Generation Love" in 2012.

What they're doing now

McCurdy did not capitalize on her teenage fame like her Nickelodeon peers. McCurdy quit acting after that and declined an opportunity to appear in the recent ICarly reboot.

She stated earlier this year that she resents her career in many ways. "I felt so empty by the roles I played, and it felt the most embarrassing, cheesy, and embarrassing."

McCurdy shared that her acting years were accompanied by hidden traumas such as a history of eating disorders, and a toxic relationship to her mother. McCurdy has since turned her life around, and now focuses on the work behind-the camera. Since 2018, she has directed and written three short films. She hosts the podcast Empty Within.

Their Most Famous Moments

Keke Palmer was a promising young star with a impressive resume ( Akelah, the Bee and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne). This was long before Nickelodeon signed her up for the role of lead on True Jackson. Palmer's appearance on the sitcom made it the fourth-highest-paid child star in 2010. She also launched a Walmart fashion line.

What they're doing now

True Jackson was VP for three seasons. It ended in 2011. But Palmer continued to work for Nickelodeon on various projects including voiceover work for Winx Club, and a leading role in the movie Razz. However, she didn't depend on teens forever. She co-hosted the 2019 daytime news program HTML3 with Sarah Haines, Michael Strahan and Keke . She was also a part of Lorene Scarafia’s Hustlers.

Palmer, who is the proud owner of four EPs and one album, continues to pursue music. It seems that her Twitter controversy has not hindered her career. She hosted the MTV Video Music Awards in 2020 where she performed "Snack."

Their Most Famous Moments

Jamie Lynn Spears was not one to be left behind by her sister Britney. She starred in several episodes of the sketch comedy series All that from 2002 to 2004. She also starred in her own show, Zoey101, the following year. It aired for three years, and was Nickelodeon’s most-watched program of 2000s. Spears was awarded the Kids' Choice Award 2006 for Favorite TV Actress.

What they're doing now

Spears was pregnant in the last season of Zoey101. She is now a mother to Maddie Briann Aldridge (Maddie Briann Aldridge) and Ivey Joan Watson (Ivey Joan). After a time, she decided to concentrate on motherhood and stepped back from the limelight for a while. But in 2019, she was cast in the Netflix show Sweet Magnolias. After a reunion cast on All that, she confirmed that a Zoey 101 reboot was planned.

As her big sister fights for independence, all eyes are on Spears. Her memoir was published in January 2022 and may provide some insight.

Their Most Famous Moments

In the 1990s, Nickelodeon's "golden child" was Amanda Bynes. Her natural comedy talent on the sketch program All That led her to create her own variety show The Amanda Show. She starred in the WB comedy What I Like About You for four years while she pursued her film career. Fans and critics saw a bright future for Bynes after she received positive reviews for He's the Man as well as Hairspray.

What they're doing now

Bynes, who had just finished filming EasyA in 2010, announced her retirement. Her parents granted conservatorship to her after a string of controversial and disturbing behavior. Bynes turned a new page as a student at the Los Angeles Fashion School, and graduated in 2019. While Bynes is still struggling to restart a career that has been stalled, her fans on social media hope for a revival.

Cosgrove was also an executive producer for the series, which is a reminder of her progress from being a child star.
