Brooke Hogan is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. She told Sky Daily that she opted out of her father's wedding in order to "protect her own happiness."

Brooke Hogan reveals why she did not attend her father's wedding.

In a long Instagram post, Brooke clarified the many rumors that surrounded her absence from Hulk Hoganand Sky Daily’s Florida nuptials at the weekend.

The 35-year old daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer explained on Monday that the dynamics of family units change continuously over time.

She added, "My family has seen a lot of changes." It's been difficult for me to navigate the changes that have occurred in public.

Brooke has revealed that as part of her journey to healing and happiness she has put distance between herself and her famous family.

She wrote: "For my journey to healing and happiness I have chosen to distance myself from my family and focus on people and things which heal my heart, align with my personal beliefs, goals and values."

"I wish him good," Brooke, daughter of Hulk's first wife Linda, concluded the explanation.

Hulk, and his wife, Sky, were married over the weekend in Tampa, only two months after they announced their engagement.

Sky, 45, wore a strapless lace dress and a matching black bow tie in a video of the wedding day. The 70-year old wore a tuxedo with matching bow tie.

According to , TMZ, the couple exchanged their vows before a small family group, which included Brooke's brother Nick Hogan (33), and Sky's children.

After more than a dating year, Hulk proposed in July to Sky, an instructor of yoga.

Hulk and Sky began dating in February 2022, after a long marriage to Jennifer McDaniel. After sharing photos of his new love, the Hogan Knows Best alum announced that they were "officially" divorced . Hulk left many fans in confusion when he said that he believed everyone knew about his divorce with McDaniel, and his new relationship.

Hulk is now married for the third time. He was previously married to Brooke's mother, Linda, in 1983, and they separated in 2007, when Linda filed for a divorce.
