Kelly Ripa shares some insights into Mark Consuelos' inspiration for the thirst traps that she posts about her husband.

The "Live with Kelly Ryan", host of "Everything Iconic", revealed that she began sharing more "shirtless shots" of her husband after discovering that Madonna followed her on Instagram.

Isaac Boots, a celebrity trainer, told me. He said, "Oh, my God, Madonna was following you," and I replied, "What?" What? What?!' What?!

"I began posting only Mark's shirtless photos because Madonna didn't want to see them," she said. "She wants to see eye candy," said the talk show host who has two sons, Joaquin (19 years old) and Michael (19 years old). Lola (21 year-old) is a Consuelos 51-year-old daughter.

Ripa joked that she was "so dim-sighted" because Madonna followed her on social media.

"My thought bubbles of Madonna following and me feeding her was like, forget anyone else," she quipped.

In August, Consuelos was last photographed by Ripa. Ripa shared a hot photo of her husband in a shirtless pose, wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses and a necklace with a chain.

She captioned the shot with "A thirsty reminder that you should watch #GenerationGap tonight (9/8c ABC) (objects may feel thirstier than they seem")", referring to the comedy quiz show she hosts.

The "All My Children," alum uploaded another shirtless photo of Consuelos tan while sitting on a lounger by the pool.

"Adequate sun protection? She wrote the following words alongside the photo.

Although it's not clear if Ripa thinks about Madonna anymore before she posts, TooFab confirmed that Ripa, 64, continues to follow her on Instagram.
