Gomez said, "I had a difficult time in a split-up and I didn’t want any [feedback]–not necessarily about my relationship but the opinions of [someone else]," There would be thousands of nice comments, but I go straight to the mean one.

She said, "People can call my ugly or stupid, and I'm like, What? These people are very detailed. They create paragraphs that are precise and meaningful. I was always crying. It was a constant battle with anxiety. I couldn't take it anymore. It was a waste.

The singer of "Good For You," revealed that TikTok is the only social media app on her phone. She finds it "a little less hostile."

Gomez stated that social media has many wonderful aspects, including the ability to connect with friends and see how excited and happy they are about their stories.

The "Only Murders in the Building” star claims that she has created a system that works. She sends content to her assistant, who will post it. Her team will leave encouraging comments for her fans.

Selena was famously in a relationship with Justin Bieber for many years. Many fans believed that her comments about a difficult breakup were about him.

Selena also discussed Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, and her thoughts about the rise in hate speech since then.

She stated, "It's risky." "I don’t feel the need to say anything, because he’s getting [the feedback] that i feel."

Gomez said, "I don’t care about him but about the direction of Twitter...It’s not my favourite app, for sure." It was more about feeling cool to own something, I don't think so. It's irresponsible, and it's unsafe.
