Willie Garson's character fate after the death of an actor is revealed just like that

Willie Garson's character fate after the death of an actor is revealed just like that

Garson, who died in September after a long battle with pancreatic carcinoma, appeared in the three first episodes of "And Just Like That."

Just like that, Stanford Blatch said good-bye to New York City.

After Willie Garson's September death from pancreatic carcinoma, Episode 4 of "Sex and the City," "And Just Like That" revealed the fate of Stanford, Willie Garson.

The episode was broadcast on Thursday, HBO Max. Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) found a yellow envelope bearing her name towards the end.

She found a letter from Stanford inside. He had recently moved to Japan. "Dearest Carrie. By the time you read this, I'll have arrived in Tokyo. The letter's beginning reads, "I couldn't tell ya -- not without crying." "And you are tired of crying."

Carrie was greeted by someone a few seconds later. Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone), Stanford's husband, knocked on Carrie's door. He immediately pointed out that Carrie had resorted to smoking and was still holding a lit cigar.

"You're smoking?" Anthony asked. Carrie replied, "Stanford's in Japan?"

Anthony then showed Carrie a TikTok clip on his phone, which featured a dancer teenage girl.

Anthony said to Carrie, "That's Ashley." He manages a 17-year-old Long Island TikTok Star. She is huge in Asia. He was asked to join her on tour. "I don't get her, but then, I'm gay, old, and not Japanese."

Carrie said, "Well, fine, sayonara," before asking, "But, why the dramatic note?" "By the time that you read this, we'll be in Tokyo." "I mean, who is this lost Bronte sister?"

"He said that he couldn’t bear to tell you that Big had died," Anthony said. Carrie replied, "Right, and notes are so much more compassionate."

Anthony jokingly said, "Oh you know Stanny. He hates to disappoint people...in person."

Carrie mentioned that even though she had just lost her husband, she wishes she could have heard about Stanford's departure in person rather than in a letter.

Anthony told her that she wanted to hear about "if something positive is happening in one my friends lives -- and I assume he considers it good --" "I don't care what is happening in your life. "Good news or bad news, I want to hear it all."

Anthony admitted that he had also received a letter. This revealed that Stanford wanted a divorce.

"I don't get it. He said that they were so happy, apparently joking about previous episodes in which the pair had been arguing.

Episode 3 was Garson's final appearance. While the show was still being filmed, he died.

The Hollywood Reporter was informed earlier this month by Michael Patrick King, showrunner. He said that Garson had not been able to film everything they wanted. He said, "We had a whole trip that we weren’t able to complete." He did amazing things.

In the aftermath of Garson's September death, many of Garson's "Sex and the City” co-stars paid tribute to Garson via social media. Parker posted an emotional tribute on Instagram. The actress posted a series photos of Garson and Parker, while also lamenting their "30+ year friendship".

She began, "It's been unbearable." Sometimes, silence can be a declaration. The gravity. Anguish. The loss of a friendship that lasted 30+ years. It was a friendship that allowed for adventure, secrets, shared professional families, truth, music, dinners, late-night phone calls, mutual devotion to parenthood, and all the joys that accompany it.

She said that she would replay their conversations, reread all of his texts and write down their last phone conversation.

She added, "Your absence is a crater I will fill with blessings of these memories as well as all the ones still in recesses yet that have yet to surface."

Parker sent Garson a sweet message, saying that he loved Garson and had deepest sympathy and condolences for his loss. Willie was a light in his life, and your greatest accomplishment was being his Papa.

She said, "These were his final words to me." "Great bangles all over." Yes. Godspeed Willie Garson. RIP. X, SJ"
