Spears, Sean Flynn and other original cast members reprise their roles in the Nickelodeon series.

Zoey Brooks, the PCA crew and their friends are back!

Paramount+ released the trailer on Tuesday for the much-anticipated ZOEY 101 follow-up film, ZOEY 102, and it looks to be an absolute blast.

The movie, which is set 15 years after the Zoey101 ending, follows Zoey and her high school friends at Logan's and Quinn’s wedding (Erna Sanders and Matthew Underwood).

The trailer shows that Zoey is still in love with her ex, despite the fact that they didn't stay together after Pacific Coast Academy. The clip also teases a reunion between the two, hinting at the possibility of rekindling their romance.

The trailer shows Zoey, Chase, and the rest of the gang in some hilarious and wild situations. Chase is even lifted up Dirty Dancing style, and then dropped unceremoniously on the floor.

According to Paramount+'s synopsis of Zoey 102: "More than a decade after her iconic series ended in 2003, ZOEY 102 finds Zoey Brooks trying to find love and life, now that she is in her 20s. Zoey Brooks and Chase didn't end up in Hawaii during that summer, and they haven’t spoken since. "When Quinn and Logan, close friends of Zoey's and Chase's, announce their wedding plans, Zoey finds herself in the bridal party."

Christoper Masey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde, (Stacey Dillsen), and Jack Salvatore, (Mark Del Figgalo) are also returning in their original roles.

The majority of the original cast will return for Zoey 102. However, some cast members won't appear in the reunion movie. These include Paul Butcher who played Dustin's brother, Victoria Justice who joined the show's second season as a main member, and Alexa Nikolas who had a recent social media fight with Spears about her book "Things That I Should Have Said" in 2022.

Paramount+ announced in January that production for Zoey 102 was underway in North Carolina. Spears was excited about the project.

She said, "I am beyond excited to be back with my PCA family as we continue the story of Zoey along with all the characters that fans love and know," As an executive producer, I've had the opportunity to work alongside such incredible talent and Paramount+ as well as Nickelodeon.

Although Nickelodeon terminated its relationship with Dan Schneider in 2018 after he partially denied misconduct allegations, the Paramount+ release credits him as having created an original series, he is not credited for any other involvement.

Zoey 101 ran for four seasons between 2005 and 2008, ending shortly after Spears announced her pregnancy when she was 16 years old. She claimed in her book that the ending of the show was not related to her pregnancy news.

She explained that she was not pregnant until six months or so after the show wrapped. However, some episodes hadn't aired. "I believe that Nickelodeon had a discussion, and rightfully so, about whether or not to air the episodes. The show was already over and no further seasons were ever discussed. We were old. "It was done."

Zoey102 premieres July 27th on Paramount+.
