Since it first premiered in 1997, ABC’s “The View” has never shied away from controversy. The show’s rotating panel of hosts come from a variety of ethnic and political backgrounds, which makes for a lively “Hot Topics” segment, to say the least.

Sometimes, though, those “lively” conversations quickly devolve into something far less friendly, and viewers are given a front row seat to moments that, while uncomfortable for the show’s hosts, are undeniably entertaining.
