Cheers is a classic American television sitcom that originally aired from 1982 to 1993. The show is set in a Boston bar called "Cheers," which is owned by a former baseball player named Sam Malone (played by Ted Danson).The bar is a popular hangout spot for a diverse group of regulars, including an intelligent and opinionated waitress named Diane Chambers (played by Shelley Long), a barfly named Norm Peterson (played by George Wendt), and a mailman named Cliff Clavin (played by John Ratzenberger).
