The sudden death of Naomi Judd on April 30 broke the hearts of music fans worldwide, occurring just the day before she and her daughter Wynonna Judd were set to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame for their work as the Judds.

The tearful ceremony paid tribute to Naomi's towering influence in country music, with Naomi's daughters Wynonna and Ashley Judd accepting the honor on her behalf. Weeks later, Naomi's life was further celebrated with the televised memorial service "Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration."

For that occasion, Naomi's surviving family members once again came together in honor of Naomi, including her longtime husband Larry Strickland. This is what Naomi Judd's husband Larry Strickland said when he broke his silence.
