In order to truly succeed in politics, one has to be a little cutthroat. Politics isn’t for the faint of heart, and politicians, at the end of the day, are meant to lead their people, not be everyone’s friend. That doesn’t mean they should be awful to their constituents, either, but that hasn’t stopped at least a few from going that route.
Everyone makes mistakes, but these politicians have truly behaved terribly. From a former U.S. president with a history of poor treatment towards women to an ex-congressman who dumped two spouses after they received devastating medical diagnoses, these are the politicians who treat people like trash.
