Social media can be a toxic mix of being a bullhorn to communicate with potentially millions of followers and the likelihood of sharing messages that have little thought or care behind them. It's led many a celebrity into hot water for comments or photos that turned out to be inappropriate or offensive. Rappers, of course, have been no exception.

Whether it's conspiratorial thinking, poorly received apologies, incriminating videos shared widely, or other unpopular comments, social media has definitely made some hip-hop stars' lives harder. Or, in these cases, done a lot of damage to their reputations and livelihoods. These are rappers who ruined their careers on social media.
