Vanessa Bryant Sends a Heartbreaking Message To Her Daughter Gigi

Kobe Bryant's "Dear Basketball" short film was an unexpected grace note to the Los Angeles Lakers legend's basketball career, winning an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 2017.

Tragically, Kobe Bryant's life, as well as the life of his daughter Gianna, was tragically cut short by a devastating fatal helicopter crash in 2020 which took the lives of 9 people in total.

Now, "Dear Basketball" is being revived with a new spin by Kobe's wife and Gianna's mother Vanessa Bryant, who shared a beautiful post on Instagram in tribute to her late daughter. You might not be able to resist crying as Vanessa Bryant reads a heartbreaking message for her late daughter Gigi.
