The whole world is talking about what just might be the biggest watercooler moment in Oscar history: Will Smith smacking Chris Rock across the face on stage, following Rock's joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, and her shaved head. Pinkett Smith suffers from alopecia, so her husband took serious offense to Rock's "G.I. Jane 2" joke, following the slap heard 'round the world by shouting, "Keep my wife's name out of your f---ing mouth!" After the altercation, Smith won Best Actor for his role in "King Richard," giving him an opportunity to address the slap. Now, some viewers of the ceremony think Will Smith's Oscar acceptance speech just completely ruined his career. Here's why.
