Today Show viewers did a double take when Chris, the younger brother of Al Roker, appeared on their screens. Some wonder if the anchor was a twin.

"I got to tell ya, I saw you walking down th hallway -- I thought that you were Al!" Today anchor Sheinelle jokingly said during the show's 3rd Hour segment. Family members will join the anchors as co-hosts and special guests throughout the week.

Chris is an experienced guest

Chris is 16 years older than his brother and is a Today Show veteran. He stated that he has been on the Today Show more times than he can recall, for everything from travel pieces to cooking segments.

Anchor Craig Melvin stated, "You're a veteran on the show!" "You've been on the program a lot!" We should start paying you!

Chris has been on the show many times but doesn't watch it often. "I can't. Chris stated, "I'm at work." "I work at New York City Health and Hospitals Lincoln and am also Chief Growth Officer."

Al called him "the Roker" in a tweet last year.

Roker says hosting was a 'absolute joy'

Chris has a busy career but still found the time to prepare for his cohosting duties. "We also learned this morning that Chris Roker does his homework. You had your notes prepared for the call. Melvin stated, "You're taking it seriously." The meteorologist laughed and said, "Unlike his brother."

He shared a photo of them at the Today Show Desk, captioned "Cohosting the @3rdhourtoday @chrisroker was an absolute pleasure." "My favorite Roker is @craigmelvinnbc," he said.

The brothers were a hit with fans because they worked together. "Y'all look like your having fun !!!! Thanks for sharing your bro! One posted. It seemed like viewers enjoyed watching the Roker brothers just as much as they enjoyed working together!
