Did you know that you can choose where you are from? Schumer makes fun of Hilaria's "Von Trapp number of children" before mocking Baldwin.

In "Emergency Contact," Amy Schumer takes no prisoners when she talks about Hilaria, and Alec Baldwin.

At the end of this nearly-hour-long special, Schumer asked the audience if they were familiar with Baldwin’s wife Hilaria before repeating the name in a Spanish accent.

She continued: "I can't believe this story." She described an alleged encounter she had "years ago," when she was backstage with Alec, his wife and their children at "Saturday Night Live." She said Baldwin's other half approached her and said "I am Hilaria from Espana." in what she described as a "very heavy Spanish accent from Spain."

Schumer jokingly said, "They have an overwhelming number of children. They name them all Spanish names such as Jamon and Flamenco." Their names are Carmen Gabriela Raphael Thomas Romeo Alejandro David Eduardo Pao Lucas Maria Lucia Victoria Illaria Catalina Irena.

Schumer re-ignited the 2020 controversy over Hilaria's past by saying, "And all this would be great and beautiful, except that Hilaria is from Espana but she's actually Hillary from Boston."

This woman is not Spanish. Her parents aren't from Spain. Nobody in her life comes from Spain. Schumer said, "I am not bullying a sociopath. I have a valid point." He speculated that Hilaria had visited Spain, "f---ing loved ittt", and then decided to "be from there."

She joked about her driver's licence, which says that she is from Splash Mountain. Before getting to her point, she asked the audience if they knew "you can just decide where you'r-e from."

"My point is, all the evidence points out that this woman has pretended she was from Spain since she met with her husband. She said that her husband had shot someone, referring to the accidental death in 2021 of Halyna Hustchins. "Now, stay with me... my point, is that neither of them gives a f ---,"," said Schumer. His punchline stressed the importance of finding someone who will stand you, no matter what.

Hilaria responded to the controversy in February 2020 after some people on social media accused Hilaria of pretending that she was Spanish.

"I spent the past month listening, reflecting and asking myself what I can do to grow and learn. She said, "My parents raised me and my brother with two cultures - American and Spanish - and I feel like a true member of both." "I should have been clearer and apologized for the way I spoke about myself and how I feel a deep connection to both cultures."

She added, "I am proud of how I was raised and we are raising our children with the same love and respect." We've built a community by being vulnerable and challenging ourselves to grow and learn. I want to return to that supportive and kind atmosphere we've created together.

She had previously stated that she was born and raised in Boston but lived in Massachusetts as well as Spain. She confirmed that she was born Hillary Lynn Hayward Thomas, but used Hilaria in Spain and Hillary in the States.
