Hollywood will remember and celebrate Annie Wersching over the weekend, who passed away after a long battle with cancer.
"There is a deep hole in the souls of this family today. She left us the tools to fill that hole. She saw wonder in even the simplest of moments. She didn't require music to dance. Wersching is well-known for her work on "24", "The Rookie," and "The Vampire Diaries." She also worked on "Timeless," the "Marvel's Runaways" series, "Bosch," and "Timeless." She was the Borg Queen in Season 2 of "Picard," one of her final roles. She was also a voice actor and motion capture performer for Tess in the "The Last of Us” video game.
Ever Carradine, a "Runaways' costar, has set up a GoFundMe for Annie's family to help them "live their lives in a way that would make Annie proud." Many actors shared their tributes to Wersching on the page.
Paul Wesley, "Vampire Diaries," star said that Annie Wersching's death has deeply affected him. "She was a talented and wonderful person that I had the privilege of knowing. You can contribute to the Gofundme page in her honor.
Kiefer Sutherland, star of "24", wrote that "The World Lost a Light Today @Wersching was one the greatest actors I've ever had to have the pleasure of working alongside, and my friend." My heart breaks for her family. "May she be remembered as the wonderful person she was."
