Charlie Day, a writer, actor and producer. He is best known for producing and starring in the comedy series It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Day not only created the series but also pitched it from a home video that he had made with his co-creators Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, and others. It takes serious vision to transform a simple home video with friends into a series of 15+ seasons. Day may be living a very similar life to the show's characters. Day's relationship with his longtime partner sounds very similar to the one in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia .
He Arm Wrestled for An Introduction
Charlie Day met his wife while they were both performing in New York plays. Day was 25 and Ellis 22 at the time. Ellis claims that Ellis and Day went to a bar one night after they had finished their plays with some of their friends. Ellis shared with Conan O'Brien the story of how Day and his friend thought Ellis was "cute" at the bar and wanted to chat to her. The two friends decided to try arm wrestling, as a way to avoid engaging in classic duel behavior at bars.
Ellis was not the only one who had her attention. Ellis was distracted by a drunken man in the bar. He was speaking to Ellis, but she did not realize there was an arm wrestling match taking place. Day won the battle thanks to Fate. He came and saved her from an Irishman who had been drinking after she won.
It was the rest of history. Ellis says that Ellis and Ellis met and fell in love. They had an exceptional, classy relationship. It was a one-night affair that continues to be a part of their lives many years later. It might work out, so just do it.
These daring acts sound like something out of an episode It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Or maybe it was foreshadowing. They acted together on Day's series for several seasons. In a classic case of art imitating human life, the couple even got together in season 12.
They have been married since 2006
The duo are best known for their collaboration on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. However, this wasn't the first time they worked together. Reno 911 also featured them! In 2004. Ellis shared her story about Day and Ellis' audition for the series. Monster Fresh explained that they could choose to play perp or victim, so she chose to be brother/sister love. Day said, "Nothing says, ‘This is the girl that I want to marry.’ Like pretending to be your sister and going out with her in order to get a job. It may sound strange, but it was true. It's Always Sunny aired on FX in 2005. Day and Ellis were married the next year.
Russell Wallace Day has been welcomed into the family by the couple. She said yes to being asked if Russell Wallace Day, their new son, will pursue the family business. Because of the way he ruled his parents, she said that she could see her 4-year-old son becoming a director.
Day has had many career achievements since then. Day has had a lot of TV writing and production credits as well as acting on both the small and large screen. Even taking a leaf out of his son's book, he's doing it. For El Tonto, he's putting on his director's hat. Ellis has had many funny TV roles. Although they have enjoyed their careers separately, it is clear that Ellis and Ellis love working together.
It's Always Sunny is in its 15th season. Day and Ellis will be celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary this March. We look forward to the many laughs that this funny couple share with the world over the years.
