Cher recalls her visit to Turner in Switzerland: "We were laughing so hard." Cher was enjoying herself despite the fact that Turner was ill and didn't want people to know.

Cher revealed that she spent time with Tina Turner, her old friend, before Tina's death.

After a long illness, the 83-year old singer passed away on Wednesday.

In an interview with MSNBC, Turner, 77, said that she had visited her friend in Zurich, Switzerland to pay her respects and let her know that she was not forgotten.

Cher explained, "I began going to see her because I felt that we needed to spend more time together so she would know we hadn't forgotten about her."

We all spent time with her, and she was happy.

She remembered Turner saying, "I cannot spend too much time."

She said: "Five hours later, we were laughing like crazy...She enjoyed herself despite the fact that she had been really sick and didn't want people to know."

Turner's family has yet to release the official cause of death, but it is well known that Turner had a history of health issues.
