Chris Hemsworth Walks Back Criticisms of Thor: Love and Thunder

The MCU star clarified his comments about Thor.

Chris Hemsworthis retracting comments he made regarding his most recent Marvelfilm, "Thor Love and Thunder."

In an interview with Yahoo! In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, the actor clarified some comments he made in his British GQ Interview.

Hemsworth says, "I have to clarify this: Iwas silly." Hemsworth: "Not silly -- We were having too much fun.

The Australian actor continued, "I love the film." You have to look at the film and see what worked, in case you want to do it again. What I learned was to have fun with comedy, and other things. But what is the emotional component and drive here? "Is this something relatable?"

He concluded, "Then add all the jokes, the fantastical effects and elements." "But sometimes, if you don't have a strong through-line in your story, then you are just having too much of a good time."

Hemsworth has recently spoken about the negative reception received from critics, saying that "he cringe[s] as well as laugh[s] at it equally."

Hemsworth said that the negative reception to the film was due to the fact that the film leaned more on the comedy elements which had been a highlight of the previous installment. The film was a critical failure, despite its box office success, which earned $760.9 millions worldwide.

"I just think we had too much of a good time." "It just became too ridiculous," he said. It's hard to be in the middle of the action and have any perspective... but I love the ride, the whole process. You just never know how the people will react.
