Busy Philipps has weighed in on the controversy surrounding Chris Pratt's Instagram post about Katherine Schwarzenegger.

Pratt received backlash earlier this month over his Schwarzenegger tribute. Most of the criticism was directed at one part: when Pratt thanked his wife for giving him "a beautiful, healthy daughter." Many saw the comment as an attack on Anna Faris, Pratt's ex-wife, and Jack, their 9-year old son. Jack was born prematurely at nine weeks gestation, which left him with some physical limitations.

Philipps, 42 years old, disagreed with several other comments Pratt (42), made about Schwarzenegger (31). This included when the "Guardians of the Galaxy” star referred to Schwarzenegger's wife as the "greatest treasure" right next to his Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck rookie card. On Tuesday's episode, "Busy Philipps is Doing Her Best ",Philipps attacked the actor for his post. She described it as "bulls ---", and said that it made it seem like he was "patronizing” his wife.

Pratt was first mentioned by the actress "years ago", and she shared that she had been on vacation with Pratt when Faris was pregnant with Jack. Before responding to the post, she stated that she knew Pratt in the past, but now doesn't. "Holy s ---. You can either act like the dumbest mothef---er or a true righteous asshole.

Philipps replied, "Real talk." I don't know. He was a heavy drinker." But she said Pratt was "super nice" as well as "funny". She claimed that he was a "doomsday prepper" at the time.

Philipps stated that it felt "so freaking weird" to his wife and that she didn't understand any of it.

"Cougar Town's" star addressed her audience, saying: "My ladies, you are probably not the kind of lady that laughs enthusiastically with a man if he starts making very tired gender jokes and responsibilities and even like, which is, 'She's the show, I occasionally open a bag full of pickles.

She added, "That's how dumb he said it is." You are a Marvel Superhero. Last year, you made $480 million. You work non-stop. You don't just open pickles jars. It's so disgusting.

Pratt continued to dispute the words of "Girls 5 Eva", explaining that Pratt was a prime example of men "acknowledging" their power and "patronizing" their spouses.

"She does a lot in their household. She likely does a lot in the household. Philipps spoke out about Pratt, who has a 14-month-old daughter Lyla with Schwarzenegger. That is a lot of work. It's hard to believe that he is talking about himself and putting himself in it.

Philipps appeared to refer to Pratt's comment that Schwarzenegger was his "greatest treasure right beside my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck rookie card." She replied, "He has possessions and she is one."

Pratt has not yet addressed the criticism, but he did respond to it in an Instagram Stories video last Friday. The "Parks and Rec” alum revealed that he was "really upset and depressed" when he went to bed last night. He stated that he woke up feeling "crappy" the next morning and was not interested in his morning exercise.

Pratt stated, "I knew that if my Christian music was on, I would feel better. But I didn't want it to." "And I did it anyways, and, gosh! was I right. It felt amazing. It was amazing to get out of the woods and feel my blood pumping.

Maria Shriver, Pratt’s mother-in law, joined the fray to support Pratt amid the backlash and shared a supportive comment about his tribute to Schwarzenegger.

She wrote, "i want you to remember today how a good man your are what a wonderful father you are and what a fantastic husband you are for katherine." "What a wonderful son-in-law you are to me, and what a great sense for humor you have!

She said, "i love chris, keep being your amazing self rise above all the noise your children love you and your wife love you. What a beautiful life!
