Cynthia Nixon speaks out about Kim Cattrall’s highly anticipated cameo in Season 2 of and Just Like That. She also explains what this could mean for the future.

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, the actress, who played Miranda Hobbes, an attorney, in Sex and the City and the Max spin-off series, shared whether Cattrall would have a "larger role" going forward following her brief appearance on And Just Like That.

Unfortunately, Samantha's fans will be disappointed.

WWHL host Andy Cohen asked a question to Nixon. "Cynthia," Nixon replied, "With Kim making a cameo in this season, do you think she will have a bigger role if the third season is approved?"

"I am very, very tiny. It was just a cameo. Nixon, 57 said, "I think it was an extra special treat for the anniversary." He then added that he was slightly disappointed to learn of Cattrall’s cameo.

She said, "We tried to keep it quiet." We're sorry that it leaked. It would have made it so much fun to watch an episode and see her pop up.

Variety reported last month that Cattrall, aged 66, had filmed a cameo, which would reportedly consist of a telephone conversation with Parker, while she was in New York.

Cattrall, despite returning to the world of this film, will not be sharing the screen with her former co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker or Kristina Davis. Cattrall also did not speak or see showrunner Michael Patrick King, according to reports.

Cattrall , while appearing on The View this week, revealed that one of Cattrall 's demands was to have Patricia Field style her for her cameo. Patricia Field was the stylist of the women throughout the original series and the two films. She has not returned for the sequel series until now.

Nixon also appeared on WWHL to participate in a segment called "Where Did It All Begin-Thia" and answer a series questions about Sex and the City, in honor of the recent 25th anniversary of the show. Nixon once revealed a scene that she wishes had been kept.

OG Sex and the City viewers will remember that in Season 3 Episode 17 titled "What goes around comes around", Carrie (Parker), was mugged as she walked down the street. Miranda helps her, the police arrive, and Miranda and the NYPD detective spark a brief romance. Miranda gets so nervous on their date that she drinks too much and becomes drunk.

Nixon claims that the original plot was more complex and ended up being cut.

Nixon remembered that Miranda dated a hot detective she felt intimidated by and she thought was out of her league. So she became wildly intoxicated. "They didn't cut this plot but they did cut the sex scenes where she is really, really drunk, and then vomits on him."
