When asked why Kim was chosen to host SNL she replied that she was "just confused".

Debra Messing is trying to clarify any confusion regarding her comments on Kim Kardashian.

After Debra questioned her decision on Twitter and said that "Saturday Night Live" hosts were usually "performers" with something to promote, it was revealed in September that SKIMS founder Debra would host the show. "Am I missing anything?" The actress continued.

Kim broke it at 30 Rockefeller Plaza almost two weeks ago. Now, the "Will & Grace” vet has retweeted the tweet and apologized.

She said that she was not trying to troll her and that she sincerely regrets it. "That was not my intention."

Kim was then called a "phenomenon", and a "cultural icon."

Debra said, "I am someone who grew-up with 'SNL.'" "I love comedy and they have had this kind of formula for decades. The formula was changed, and I thought, "Oh, is she going to have a new TV series?" Is there a book in the works? Are you a part of a movie?

Kim had "nothing coming up" after Debra pointed out that E! Debra stated that she was confused after Debra mentioned Kim didn't have "anything coming up" and that her E! I've been living under a rock. I haven't kept my fingers on the pulse pop culture."

"So I was like, "Okay. "So I was like, "Okay. It was clearly interpreted differently. She was incredible, I saw her, and I wanted to root for her."

Debra concluded her remarks by saying that she "consistently lifts up and supports women." "So, I hope people realize that that wasn't my intention."
